Macaroni and Cheese
Ingredients
  • 4 qts. Water (to boil pasta)
  • 16 oz. Pasta (1 box usually)
  • 6 cups cheese
  • 12 oz. sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. Onion powder
  • Breadcrumbs for topping
Steps
  • Preheat Oven to 325.
  • Bring water to boil and cook pasta as directed on packaging, rinse and drain.
  • Combine cooked macaroni, cheeses, sour cream, mayonnaise, and onion powder. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.
  • Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  • Bake for 1 hour.
Notes
Another one of my family’s favorites! I have made so many different recipes of this, but I am finally claiming this one found in a magazine a while back with some modification. The only change I make is I enjoy blending an assortment of cheeses. I usually see what is in my refrigerator and will create a more interesting dish by blending other cheeses I have with cheddar. Examples of cheeses I like to use with the cheddar are Muenster, Haverty, Provolone, and Mozzarella.
